The COG 2010 Limited Edition Geocoin depicts the same illustration as the "Blue Skies" and "Canoeists Delight" geocoin.
It has been minted and not painted/enameled to present a "Classic" look; this geocoin is trackable but it is likely too rare to risk releasing into the wild!

The "COG 2010 Limited Edition" geocoins have been created to raise funds for COG to fund activities such as Spring Fling.

This "COG Auction" starts today and will close at midnight Eastern Time on February 28th 2010.

"Bids" should be sent via PRIVATE MESSAGE to me (RCA777) and the timestamps of those messages in my inbox will be used to determine if the Feb 28th deadline has been met.

In the event that multiple bids of the same amount are received on or before the deadline, the "competing" parties will notified by E-Mail at the address associated with their COG account, in addition to a Private Message on the COG Forums.

The "competing" parties will then be asked if they have a revised bid; the process will continue, with a maximum of 48 hours being allowed for a response to return from "competing" parties before they are removed from the auction process.

The bidding for one of these geocoins now starts at $20CAN.



You may bid as often as you wish.

Winning bidder will receive their geocoin either by Canada Post mail, or by hand at a COG event!

Payment is to be made as arranged with the auction winner; PayPal is accepted.
Failure to pay (or "I changed my mind"!) will result in the next eligible bidder with the highest bid being contacted and offerered the opportunity to acquire the geocoin in lieu of the original winning bidder.

In the event that something wacky occurs, COG reserves the right to withdraw the geocoin from the auction and any transactions that may have taken place would be refunded in full.
